    Due to impacts of the severe weather event in 2025, Little Crystal Creek day-use area in Mount Spec section, Paluma Range National Park is temporarily closed.

    Temporary partial closure: McClellands Lookout carpark, Mount Spec section, Paluma Range National Park (update)

    Visitors are advised that a section of the McClellands Lookout carpark, located at the corner of Mount Spec Road and Loop Road in Paluma Range National Park, will be closed from Friday 19 June 2026 to Wednesday 16 June 2027 (dates inclusive).

    Jourama Falls lookout walking track update, Paluma Range National Park (update 21 Aug)

    The Jourama Falls lookout walking track is now open. A temporary walking track has been established to provide access to the Jourama Falls lookout and the upper sections of the Waterview Creek gorge below the falls. The temporary track crosses a landslide that occurred during the February 2025 monsoon rain event.

    Upcoming temporary track closure due to planned burn operations: Blue Gum circuit track (off H track), Paluma Range National Park

    Queensland Parks and Wildlife Service (QPWS) will be conducting planned burns (weather permitting) within Paluma Range National Park between Friday 9 October and Friday 23 October 2026 (dates inclusive), as part of the annual conservation management and hazard reduction program for parks and forests.
