Millewa Campgrounds CLOSED due to flooding
The following campgrounds in the Murray Valley National and Regional Park are closed from 14 August 2026 until 18 October due to flooding: Millewa Regional Park campgrounds are CLOSED: Huts campground Brown Bottle Bend campground Clay Island campground Lower Sandy campground Ash Tree campground Snows campground Deadwood campground Chimney Creek campground Millewa Regional Park campgrounds are OPEN: Thistle Bend campground Walthours campground Douglas campground Nestons campground Nine Panel campground Fishermans Bend campground Turtles campground Kangaroo Bend campground Hooked Leaf Wattle campground Cherry Tree campground Potts Creek campground Mary Ada campground Pinch Gut campground 1818 campground Millewa National Park campgrounds are CLOSED: Wire Fence Landing campground House Creek campground Honeymoon Bend campground Scotts Beach campground Paradise Beach campground Aratula campground Top End Beach Campground Millewa National Park campgrounds are OPEN: McLaurens campground Middle campground Farm Road campground Cumalong campgrounds Note: Main access to the campgrounds via Fishermans Bend Road. Be advised there is currently water over the road, 4WD vehicles are strongly recommended. Remember, it’s never safe to drive, ride or walk through flood waters, so you’ll need to reschedule your visit and avoid travel through areas in this park. Check Live Traffic NSW for up-to-date information about road closures. For assistance during severe weather visit the NSW SES website. In life-threatening situations call emergency services on Triple Zero (000). Penalties apply for non-compliance. For more information, contact the local park office.
