    Planned site rehabilitation, maintenance and hazardous tree works in the Inskip Peninsula Recreation Area will commence Monday 26th 2026 October until Friday 12th March 2027.

    Inskip Peninsula camping area boundary realignment and access changes following severe weather damage, combined with shoreline retrogression (update)

    A combination of ex-Tropical Cyclone Alfred damage, storm surges, swell, and shoreline retrogression has eroded the eastern-facing beaches of Inskip Peninsula, and caused loss of sand, destabilisation of the dunes and loss of existing campground border fencing.
