Plan Your Visit - Dandenong Ranges Botanic Garden Spring 2026
Spring is the peak flowering season at the Dandenong Ranges Botanic Garden, offering three months of vibrant colour and beauty. This is our busiest time of year, especially on weekends, public and school holidays. Please try to visit during the non-peak periods to make it easier to find a park and for a more peaceful visit. Flowering varies from year to year based on the mountain environment and weather. We are not able to provide daily flowering updates and there is no single "best" time to visit. The cherry blossom grove is an Autumn colour planting and does not produce many flowers; the native birds eat most of them before they get to open! If possible carpool or take public transport to visit. Our carparks will fill completely at peak times. Thank you for your patience and understanding.
