    Due to heavy rain from ex-Tropical Cyclone Jasper, Kauri Creek Road and Tinaroo Creek Road are closed until further notice.

    Temporary road closure and repair works: Mount Edith Road, Danbulla National Park and State Forest (update 31 Aug)

    Heavy machinery will be operating on Mount Edith Road, Danbulla National Park and State Forest, between Monday 13 July and Saturday 31 October 2026 (dates inclusive) due to repair work required due to impacts from ex-Tropical Cyclone Jasper.

    Reduced capacity due to higher than expected water levels of Tinaroo Dam: Downfall Creek, Kauri Creek and Fong-On Bay camping areas, Danbulla National Park (update 18 Aug)

    Higher than expected water levels of Tinaroo Dam have significantly reduced the amount of available space for camping at Downfall Creek, Kauri Creek and Fong-On Bay camping areas and space usually available for camping is currently underwater.
