    Temporary closure: Bough Shed Waterhole camping and day-use area, Bladensburg National Park (update 24 Sep)

    Bough Shed Waterhole camping and day-use area remains closed until further notice. The site was extensively damaged by floodwaters in March 2025. QPWS have commenced works to rehabilitate the area and reinstate the visitor facilities.

    Temporary evening closures for pest management control program: Bladensburg National Park

    Queensland Parks and Wildlife Service (QPWS) will be conducting a pest management control program at Bladensburg National Park each evening from Thursday 24 September to Thursday 01 October, between the hours of 4pm to 6am (inclusive), as part of the conservation management program for the park.
