    Safety advice: Scrubby Creek crossing into Eliot Falls camping and day-use area, Apudthama National Park (CYPAL) (update 5 Dec)

    The entry into Eliot Falls camping and day-use area requires crossing Scrubby Creek on the Old Telegraph Track (managed by Cook Shire Council). This crossing is only suitable for high clearance four-wheel-drive vehicles due to severe erosion of the entry and exit points.

    Safety advice: Track to Ussher Point severely eroded, Apudthama National Park (CYPAL) (update 26 Aug)

    Visitors are advised that due to heavy rainfall, the access road into Ussher Point is severely eroded. This includes the entire 55km section of track from the Bamaga Bypass Road to Ussher Point camping area.
